WRITING FROM AUCKLAND NEW ZEALAND

So I have moved to New Zealand! This is crazy!! Sitting in a hostel in Auckland writing this but wont be here for long. We have already decided to leave for Rotorua on Friday and go WWOOFing (willing workers on organic farms) Don't get me wrong, Auckland is a nice city, but we didn't come here to NZ to live big city life exactly.

These last few days has been soooo busy. We have been to the worknholiday office and they are really great over there, we can use them for everything from fixing papers for the bank or tax numbers to getting help finding the way to the museum and of course finding jobs. Would have been soo much more difficult without them! There really is a lot to fix! But we have done some fun things too like going up on top of the highest volcano in town ( there are a lot of them around here!) Mount Eden. Its got a great view of town and the surrounding islands. And you do sort of get the feeling that any minute now a hobbit will pop out of the ground ;)

GETTING CLOSER...

Det är bara två veckor kvar tills jag flyttar till Nya Zeeland nu. OH MY GOD! OMIGODH! Haha ibland tänker jag bara yeah let´s do this och andra dagar so bara shiet, vad har jag gett mej in på?? Roligt nog är jag inte så nervös över det faktum att jag ska flytta till andra sidan jorden utan snarare över alla förberedelser och saker som ska med och FRAMFÖRALLT över att jag ska börja söka jobb igen så fort vi kommit dit! Jag blir alltid så nervös när jag ska börja ett nytt jobb, men det är väl fler som blir haha?

De senaste två veckorna har jag gjort mycket kul och passat på att njuta av min tid i Sverige. Här kommer en recap i bilder! :)

Only two weeks left until I move to New Zealand! OH MY GOD!! OMIGODH!! Haha sometimes I´m like; yeah let´s do this and other days I´m just like; shiet what have I done?? Funnily enough I´m not so very nervous about actually moving to the other side of the planet but rather about all the planning and things I neeed to bring and most DEFINATELY I´m worried about applying for a job! I always get so nervous when I start a new job, but I´m not alone right haha?

These last two weeks I´ve been doing a lot of fun stuff and really enjoyed my time i Sweden. Here´s a recap in photos! :)

Went to Ljungsbro market and realized I hadn´t ever been to the factory shop so I we went there. Boy did they have a lot of chocolate! mihihi

Had a Greek evening with the family when we ate Greek food and listened to Greek music and watched the photos from Rhodes. Cosy cosy!

and then had some more fika haha. But we did have time to go shopping in between! I like Uppsala, if I have to stay in Sweden I could easily imagine myself studying there!

In the evening Elin smuggled me into one of the student pubs and we had some dinner and drinks with her friends.

Tuesday we went into Stockholm and met up with Johanna. Wiie I always have so much fun with these girls!

Had fika in old town, tried a capuccino just cause I haven´t had one before. Before you freak out remeber I didn´t even like coffee before living so close to all those Starbucks in Brighton!

Had dinner at this really nice italian resturant called Vapiano and ate the best salmon pasta of my life, OMG food orgasm x 1000! Thank you Joel Älveroth for the tip!

Finished off an awesome day with a beer at an irish pub before heading back to Uppsala :)

Had crepes at a cosy little café after I went wild and crazy in the English Bookshop. Lucky we don´t have it here in Linköping or I would spend all my money on books haha.

Back in Linkan I went to the cinema with this young lady and watched the One Direction movie in 3D. And yes I admit I enjoyed it a lot, the guys seems to have real fun lives.

And in the morning I got to see her compete in Archery!

And that´s the end of two awesome weeks. Tomorrow I gotta start packing for real aaah!! Haven´t I got the cutest cousin ever btw? <3

UPDATE!!

Hej på er alla! Tror aldrig jag har väntat såhär länge med en uppdatering sedan jag startade bloggen men jag har varit galet arg på mej själv på grund av ett dumt misstag. Jaja sånt är livet, jag har ändå hunnit med en hel del kul. Som att ha Elin på besök i Linköping! Vi fikade massor haha tror aldrig jag har träffat en människa som kan fika lika ofta som jag och så åkte vi till smultronstället i Söderköping och åt jätteglassar med Sofia och Johanna. Och drog ut på LKPGs bargata såklart, vilket Elin tyckte var väldigt… annorlunda. Meaning? Haha

Var också på en kräftskiva med en massa härliga människor och hade väldigt kul. Tyvärr lite väl kul hosthost, skämde väl ut mej en del. Menmen då är det skönt att veta att man flyr landet om en månad! XD Firade också Sofies födelsedag ute i Åtvid med lite grillhäng och prommenad i Åtvids ”fina” områden. Så härligt att kunna hänga lika avslappnat med er som om vi slutade gymnasiet igår. Ni är grymt fina <3

Har också hunnit gå på International street market och handla massa fudge och ätit fransk mat medmera och gått på Rix FM festivalen med Emelie för att se Robin Stjernberg och Darin. Måste säga att den förstnämnde var bäst! I onsdags gick jag ut och åt finmiddag med Ellipelli och finefterrätt på det förstås och i Torsdags blev det bio. Igår blev det finmiddag ännu en gång, denna gång på New York legends, med Elli och Hanna innan utgång på Platå där de var togatema för alla studenter. Fett mysig vecka! <3

Hi guys! Don´t think I´ve ever waited this long to make an update since I started this blog but I´ve been so mad at myself for some stupid mistake. Well, that´s life I guess. I´ve had time for some fun stuff too anyways. Like having Elin here in Linköping! We had lots of fika haha don´t think I´ve ever met anyone who can fika as much as I do before. We also went to Söderköping where we ate giant ice creams with Sofia and Johanna and went out on Linköping´s bar street, which Elin thought was very…. Different. Meaning? Haha

Also went to a crayfish party (really Swedish thing we have in August every year when we eat crayfish and drink like crazy and wear stupid hats with crayfish on it haha) and there were loads of nice people there and I had som much fun. A little too much fun, probably embaressed myself a bit… Good thing I´m leaving the country next month hehe XD Also celebrated my friend Sofie in Åtvid with some BBQ and cosy walks. Love being able to hang out with them just as relaxed as if we´d finished high school just yesterday. Wonderful girls <3

I´ve also had time to visit The International Street Market where I bought a lot of English fudge and ate French food. And I also went on a concert with two famous Swedish singers, Robin Stjernberg from Eurovision song contest and Darin, my old crush. Wednesday I had a really nice dinner out with Elli and a nice dessert after that and Thursday we went to the movies and watched The mortal instruments. Sucks! Yesterday I went out for yet another nice dinner with Elli and Hanna at New York Legends before we went out to a night club. Cosy week! <3

GOTHENBURG

Sitter på bussen påväg tillbaka till Linköping men den här gången har jag Elin med mej. Inte mej själv alltså utan Höglund XD Har haft tre helt underbara dagar i Göteborg med omnejd, ni tjejer är så jäkla härliga! Skrattade tills tårarna sprutade och vi låg och vred oss på golvet med kramp i magen haha. Vi fikade (såklart!) i Haga, åt världens godaste falafelrullar, tog ett glas på Vasa, glodde på jane austen film, käkade asiatiskt i park och tog en öl innan vi gick på Movits konsert (längst fram!), gick förbi Torka aldrig tårar utan handskar-känn ingen sorg Adam, tog sjöprommenad och plockade hallon utanför Håkan Hellströms sommarstuga.

Sitting on the bus on my way back to Linköping but this time I have Elin with me. Not myself but Höglund hahaXD Have had three wonderful days in Gothenburg, you girls are so awesome! We laughed like crazy until we were rolling around on the floor haha. We went and had fika ( of course), had the most delicious falafel wraps ever, had a drink at a bar, watched a Jane Austen film, Ate asian food in a park and had a beer before a Movits concert (front row!) passed a famous Swedish actor, took a walk by the lake and picked rasberries outside Håkan Hellström´s (famous singer) summer cottage.

A WEEK IN RHODES

Då är man tillbaka från en veckas semester på Rhodos! Så himla värt det var! Runt 30 grader varje dag och strålande sol. Låg på stranden dagarna i ända och gick ut och åt på mysiga resturanger och drack roliga drinkar. En perfekt relaxad semester med familjen alltså :) Nu sitter jag på bussen ner till tjejerna i Göteborg, ååh ska bli så kul att träffa dom igen!! <3

Back from a week´s vacation in Rhodes! So frieking nice! The weather was lovely, around 30C every day and the sun was shining from a bright blue sky. Chilled out at the beach all day long and went out in the evening to cosy resturants and had delicious drinks. The perfect relaxed vacation with the family :) Sitting on the bus now on my way down to Gothenburg to meet the girls, it´s gonna be so wonderful to see them again!! <3

BBQ AND PICNICS AND ALL THAT

Måndagen tillbringade jag med bror min och kusinen. Vi gick och åt våfflor på åbacka café och satt i deras mysiga trädgård innan vi gick och åt en massa glass på bosses. På kvällen blev det BBQ med Eva, Adam och Amanda igen, den här gången hemma hos dom i vikingstad. Alltid lika trevligt! I tisdags var det dåligt väder så vi gick och shoppade på Ikano. Köpte TRE par skor! Herregud! Men dom behövs till Nya Zealandresan. Ett par bra löparskor, ett par converse och ett par riktigt bra fjällvandrarkängor. Känner på mej att de kommer komma väl till pass där ;) Men inte hittade jag nån ny bikini till Rhodosresan på söndag... :(

Åt middag hos Louise på kvällen och sov över där. Kollade på videon vi spelade in, åh herre gud va roliga vi va haha! Men gissar att ingen annan kommer fatta vår humor? XD

Kollade på War Horse igår, riktigt bra men så otroligt sorglig, ville bara gråta genom halva filmen! Idag har jag picknickat i trädgårn med Emelie. Vi hade kycklingwraps, jordgubbar,muffins,melon,vindruvor,mango... MUMS!

Spent Monday with my brother and cousin Lou. We went to have waffles at a cosy café by the river and sat out in their garden eating before going back into town for ice cream. In the evening we ha a BBQ with Eva, Adam and Amanda again, this time at their place in Vikingtown. Had a lovely time as always. Had bad weather this tuesday so we went shopping in the mall and I bought THREE pair of shoes! OMG! But I need them for the New Zealand trip. A pair of sneakers, a pair of converse and a pair of real good hiking boots. Have a feeling I´m gonna need them there ;) But I didn´t find a new bikini for the trip to Rhodes on Sunday... :(

Had dinner with Louise in the evening and stayed over there. We checked out the video we made and omg we´re hilarious! But I´m guessing no one else is gonna get our humor haha XD

Watched War Horse yesterday evening and it was really good but also really sad, I wanted to cry through half the movie! Today I went to the park with Emelie and had a picnic. We ate chicken wraps, strawberries,cupcakes,grapes,mangoes..YUMMIE!

HAVING A GOOD TIME WITH FRIENDS

Fyra dagar sedan den senaste uppdateringen och oj så mycket jag har hunnit med under den tiden! Det är så härligt att ha semester! I torsdags hade vi familjevänner över och hade en trevlig middag i trädgården innan vi gick och lyssnade på Torsdagstoner i Trädgårdsföreningen. Edith Strindbergs orkester är så bra!

I fredags drog jag ut på landet till Malin och satt och glodde på skräckfilm (som inte var så läskig haha) och the vow. Snacka om att man blir kär i Channing Tatum all over again! Louise hämtade upp mej efteråt och så drog vi till Steve´s för middag i det fina vädret och lite glass så klart. Och färska hallon och chocodrink i trädgårn. Och sen var de bara att dra till Waynes för fika med Matilda och sen gick vi och såg World War Z. Så läskig! Och riktigt värd att se. Men fan vad jag åt den dagen asså!

Igår hann jag med en dagstur till Vadstena med mamma och Tomas och sedan blev det en mini-road trip ner till småland för grillfest hos Sofia. Himla trevligt! Och så himla fint hus! På natten fortsatte jag, Malin och Emelie ut på stan efter vi kommit tillbaka till Linköping och dansade natten lång :)

It´s been four days since my last up date and oh boy have a done a lot of stuff since then! I love vacation! Thursday we had some family friends over and had dinner in our garden before we went down to the park and listened to live music.

Friday I went out to the country side and watched a horror movie with Malin (it wasn´t really scary) and The Vow. Talk about falling in love with Channing Tatum all over again! Louise picked me up afterwards and we went to dinner in town and had ice cream of course. And fresh raspberries and choco drink. And then I went on to have a fika with Matilda before we went to the cinema and saw World war Z. So scary! And worth watching! But boy did I eat a lot that day!

Yesterday I went to Vadstena with mum and Tomas and afterwards I went on a mini road trip down to Småland and had a BBQ at Sofia´s there. Such a lovely evening! And such a wonderful house! Malin Emelie and I went back to Linköping in the evening and went out dancing all night long :)

Då har jag varit uppe i sommarstugan i Jämtland en vecka och mysit. Här kommer en bildbomb!

SUMMER WEEKS

Lyssnade på Captain Jacks army på stora torget. / Listened to Captain Jacks army on the main square.

Badade på vikingstadbadet och hängde med mormor och Lovisa. / Went swimming at the pool in Vikingstad and hung out with grandma and Lovisa.

Gick en härlig skogsprommenad. / Had a lovley walk in the forest.

Plocka plocka blåbär. / Picking blueberries.

Tog en sväng förbi Lou som satt på taket. / Went to Lou who was sitting on the roof.

Poet på taket haha. Passade på att skriva lite :) / Poet on the roof haha. Took some time to write a bit.

Hängde med Lou på jobbet runt omkring i östergötland. Så himla fina platser och lyxiga hus de finns! / Joined Lou at work around our county. There are so many beautiful places and luxorious houses here!

Gick ut och åt på kvällen. / Went out for a bite in the evening.

Fikade också såklart mihihi. / Had a fika too of course mihihi.

Och så gick vi ut för en drink, som ledde till lite dans också. / and so we went out for a drink that turned into some dancing too.

Lunchade på stan med knäppa Louise och Wilma, dethär blev den mest normala bilden... Självklart blev de bossesglass också :D / Lunched with nutheads Lou and Wilma, this was the most normal pic... Ofcourse we had ice cream too :D

Så åkte vi till Berg och badade. / We went swimming in lake roxen.

LOU MY FRIEND

Har hängt några dagar med min fina vän Louise. Bilder kommer imorgon! Tänkte bara göra ett litet snabbt inlägg. Vi spelade in lite film idag, det gick väl sådär haha. Har båda två en ovana att helt byta ämne mitt i inspelningen så de blir ju lite rörigt. Vi får se om vi kan få till nått av det material vi har :)

Been hanging out with my beautiful friend Louise. Pics will be up tomorrow! Just thought I´d make a quick update. We filmed a bit today and it went not so well haha. Both of us have a bad habit of changing the subject during the actual filming which complicates things. We´ll see if we can make anything out of the material we´ve got :)

MINIGOLF AND ICE CREAM

Igår blev det minigolf med mamma och tomas på kvällen. Gick verkligen inte bra, jag kan inte sikta haha. Vann över mamma iallfall :)

Idag träffade jag Matilda över ett glas iste på Wayne´s och sen drog vi till Berg och käkade glass i det underbara vädret. Kul att se dej igen Matilda! :)

Yesterday Mum, Tomas and me played miniature golf in the evening. It really didn´t go very well, I can´t aim at all haha. I came in second though so I´m better han mum at least :)

Today I met Matilda at a café and then we went to Berg (where the locks and lake are) and ate ice cream in the lovley weather.

AT THE BEACH

Var i varamon idag och badade med Sofia i det fina vädret. Eller njaa solade nog mest. Vättern är ju iskall! Så himla skönt att ligga på stranden iallfall, har verkligen sett fram emot det här! Nu ikväll bjöd jag nyblivna 20åringen Malin på thaimiddag. Sofia var med också, mysigt med en liten tjejmiddag på stan :)

Nu ska jag snart sova, godnatt!

Went to the beach today with Sofia and enjoyed the sun. Didn´t swim much though as the water is freezing! It´s so awesome to chill out on the beach, been looking forward to this for so long! Tonight I went to dinner with Malin who just turned 20 at a Thai resturant. Sofia joined too and it was real cosy having some girl time in town :)

SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Äntligen känner jag att det börjar bli sommar på riktigt. Imorgon ska det bli 25 grader och sol, passar ju bra att man drar till varamon :)

I onsdags firade jag Lovisa som fyllde 11 år. Hon är London nu den fuskisen. I torsdags åt mamma och jag den första bosses glassen för i år. MUMS! Hängde med Emelie igår, lunchade på hälsofreaks kycklingwrap så klart och chillade i min trädgård. Himla kul att ses igen Em! Igårkväll gick jag och min bag in box hem till Sofia dit Olof också kom och så hade vi trevligt hemmachill tills vi drog till Ågatan. Stötte på Emma och Fredrik, FUs senaste studenter och så åt vi kebab såklart. Älska nattmat! Idag har jag solat hela dagen lång och så grillade vi i vår härligt varma trädgård. Nu blir det hemmakväll med cappucinochoklad <3

It´s finally starting to feel like summer for real. Tomorrow it´s gonna be around 25C so it´s perfect that I´ll be going to the longest sweet water beach in Scandinavia :)

Lovisa celebrated her birtday this Wednesday, she turned 11. She´s in London now, I´m so jealous! Thursday I went downtown and ate the first ice cream of the year from our favorite ice cream place. YUMMIE! Hung out with Emelie yesterday and lunched at Health Freak of course(love their chicken wraps!) and chilled out in my garden. Yesterday evening me and my wine box went to Sofia where we were joined by Olof and had a nice chill out night before we went to the bar street. There we met some old students from my last school and of course ate kebab. Love night food! Today I´ve been spending my time in the sun trying to get a tan and this evening we had a bbq in our wonderful garden. Now I´m gonna have a cosy night home with some cappucino chocolate <3

ICECREAM

Hängde med cousin Lou på stan idag och shoppade lite. Hon fyller elva imorgon, herregud vad stor hon börjar bli! Nu ikväll drog jag till smultronstället Söderköping med Louise, Gia, Wilma, Vicky och Mirelle och åt glass till jag ville spy haha. Sen drog vi såklart till McDonalds efter det och käkade pommes, jag har aldrig mått så illa haha men gott var det!

Hung out with cousin Lou in town today and did some shopping. She´s turning eleven tomorrow, omg she is really growing up quickly! This evening I went to my favorite ice-cream place in Söderköping with Louise, Gia, Wilma Vicky and Mirelle and ate ice-cream until I wanted to puke haha. After that we went to McDonalds of course and ate french fries, I´ve never felt so sick in my life haha but it was absolutely delicious!

BACK IN SWEDEN!!

Då är jag tillbaka i Sverige och här lär jag stanna till största del fram till 1 Oktober då jag flyttar till Nya Zealand. Bara tre månader kvar aaah!! Så skönt det ska bli med semester! Det förtjänar jag efter allt det hårda arbetet på köttfabriken. Men jag måste erkänna att det var lite sorligt att säga adjö till alla på jobbet, de flesta har ju varit riktigt trevliga. Vem vet, jag kanske återvänder för att jobba lite igen innan jag drar vidare på fler äventyr i den stora vida världen...

Sista helgen i Norge var kul iallfall, först gick jag, Jennika, Aida och Andreas och såg Man of steel som var riktigt bra (stålmannen är superhet!) Och på lördagen blev det shopping och fika på dagen och sen drog vi ut på landet och festade med ett härligt gäng norrmän och svenskar. Igår kom pappa och hämtade mej och alla mina saker och så åkte vi till Linköping. Idag sov jag ut läääänge, så underbart! Och så kom Mormor och lovisa förbi med jordgubbar som vi satt och mumsade på i trädgården. Louise kom nu på kvällen och vi fikade på Steves ihop innan vi drog hem till henne. I´m back in Sweden where I will stay until the first of October when I move to New Zealand. Only three months left aaaah! Having summer vacation will be awesome! I deserve it after all the hard work at the meat factory. But I have to admit it was kinda sad to say goodbye to all of my work mates, most of them are real nice. Who knows, maybe I´ll return to work for a while again before my next adventure abroad...

My last weekend in Norway was fun, I went to the movies on Friday and watched Man of Steele with Jennika, Aida and Andreas. It was real good and the guy was so hot! We went shopping on Saturday and out on the countryside to a party in the evening with a bunch of nice Swedes and Norweigans. Dad came and picked me up yesterday and we drove all the long way back with all my stuff. Today I slept until twelve, absolutely wonderful! Grandma and Lovisa stepped by with strawberries in the afternoon and I met up Louise at a café in town this evening. Now she´s asleep here beside me, I better go to bed myself. Goodnight folks!
